Artist Comments

After a visit to the Edinburgh Art Gallery and Museum, I took a picture of the view from the gallery, looking east over Princess Street gardens towards the Scott Monument. It was a lovely sunny day and the scene was just begging to be painted. In dark, wet winter days, like we've been having recently, its nice to look at a scene that promises sunny days ahead.
